Elizabeth Pybus Sutton finished an Art Foundation course at Chelsea School of Art and then went on to take a BA hons in Fine Art at Kingston University. She transformed from conceptual art to train in botanical and atelier artistry at the Chelsea Physic Gardens and also the London Fine Art Studios.

Elizabeth’s love is in exploring the balance between modern and traditional styles and she combines her passion for nature with London’s vibrant art scene. 

 She paints in many styles including portraiture, life drawing, still life and landscapes and whilst she uses a range of mediums, she primarily works in oils.  Painting from real life is an important part of Elizabeth’s work whilst her inspiration of the natural world keeps her focus on the strength of colour in her artwork.   

On top of her international commissions, she has exhibited at The Green and Stone Summer exhibition 2021 & 2022, ‘River Views’ at The County Hall Arts Exhibition 2022 and The Chelsea Art Society 73rd Annual Exhibition 2022 and her work is in collections throughout the world.
