Madeleine De Angelis achieved her graduation in the arts from Harrow School Of Art before embarking on a career in the fashion industry, going on to run an impressive design studio in London.
It was that career in textiles that inspired Madeleine’s eye for colour and movement, which she later transferred onto canvas, creating multi-layered exquisitely detailed textures and surfaces.
From her studio in Brighton, her passion is to capture the aspects of light dancing on a surface like water and amongst nature itself, and she is often inspired by the sublime, nearby South Downs National Park.
Madeleine’s work has been featured at the Royal Academy, Mall Galleries London as well as Goodnestone House Deal and the Worthing Museum, amongst others and her art takes pride of place in many collections around the world.
